1. Summary
Quotempo Mobile does not collect or gather any data. No telemetry, no analytics, no advertising, no account, no purchases. The app reads values that Quotempo on your Mac has written to the private iCloud database of your Apple Account and displays them. Xvision Solutions receives no data.

3. What the app reads
Quotempo Mobile reads from the private iCloud database of your Apple Account (Apple CloudKit) what Quotempo stores there on your Mac: per provider the time windows with used share, duration and reset time, the traffic light, where applicable the name of an error code, the name of your Mac and a random identifier of the Mac, a history of the daily peak values of the last 7 days and short messages for "running low" (provider, window, remainder, reset time, name of the Mac). E-mail addresses, account names, plan, organisation, paths, logs, tokens and keychain contents are not there.
The app itself writes no data to iCloud. The only exception is a subscription for the "running low" notification (section 5); it contains no values, only the rule for which new messages iCloud should notify your device about.
4. What is stored on your device
- a copy of the values read, in a shared app container (App Group), so that the app and the widgets can display them without a network;
- your settings (language, notifications, demo mode, whether the introduction has been seen).
This data does not leave your device. In demo mode the app shows fixed sample values that have nothing to do with your data.
5. Notifications
"When a quota is running low": your Mac stores a short message in iCloud; iCloud sends a notice to your device through the Apple Push Notification service (APNs), and the app assembles the text from it (provider, window, remainder, reset time, name of the Mac). "When a quota has been reset": the device plans this notification itself from the local copy; nothing is sent for it. Both happen only if you switch them on in the app and iOS allows notifications; you can switch them off at any time in the app or in the iOS settings.
6. Widgets and retrieval
The widgets read the same local copy. If it is older than 10 minutes, the widgets retrieve the values from iCloud for a few seconds (read only). The app retrieves at launch, in the foreground, on request ("Fetch now", pull to refresh) and, as far as iOS allows, in the background. When iOS updates widgets is decided by iOS.
7. iCloud, Apple and third parties
iCloud, CloudKit and the push service are operated by Apple. Apple's privacy policy applies to that: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Quotempo Mobile contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services and no third-party software that sends data.
8. Links
The link to https://xvision.solutions/quotempo/ (website, support, privacy) only opens in the browser (Safari) when you tap it. The app does not retrieve this address itself.
9. Deletion and your rights
To delete, remove the app; the local copy and the settings disappear with it. The data in iCloud comes from Quotempo on your Mac: switch the synchronisation off there (Quotempo then deletes the data of this Mac in iCloud). On the iPhone or iPad you can also manage access and data yourself. Switch access off: “Settings → your name → iCloud → Saved to iCloud → See All → Quotempo”. Delete data: “Settings → your name → iCloud → Storage → Manage Storage → Quotempo” (the labels may differ depending on the iOS version). Because Quotempo Mobile does not transmit any personal data to us, we hold no data that we could disclose, correct or delete on request. Direct questions about data protection to office@xvision.solutions.
10. Legal bases, supervision and language version
This privacy policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, takes the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into account. As Quotempo Mobile does not transmit personal data to us, we do not process personal data of users as the provider; the data in iCloud is in your Apple Account; Apple processes it as the provider of iCloud under its own privacy policy. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the supervisory authority of your place of residence. The German version prevails.
11. Terms of use
Apple's Standard End-User License Agreement applies to Quotempo Mobile: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
